Welcome to the Web Site of

The Rotary Club of Charlottetown Royalty

The club, which held its charter night on March 19, 1987, was the brainchild of two members of the Charlottetown Rotary Club, Lloyd MacLeod and Wayne Hambly. At the time, there were two Rotary clubs in Charlottetown, but there was an opportunity and a desire to create a breakfast club.

The charter president was Tom Wilkinson, who later became a District Governor of District 7820. There were 57 members of the club at its inception, of which 15 are still members today. One of these members, Brian Potter, has had perfect attendance since the start.

Please feel free to browse links on the menu to learn more about our club, our members, and our projects.

Our breakfast meetings, held at the Delta Hotel on Wednesdays at 7:15 a.m., tend to be lively with good speakers, good humour and great friendship. One of the highlights of the meetings is the piano playing of our club pianist, Dr. David Morrison.
